Charlie Bears is a retailer of affordable, collectable bears and characters that are all designed at The Bearhouse in Cornwall.
Charlie Bears were originally on two OpenCart sites and weren’t receiving any support, so were in need of an updated set of websites on a more scalable and robust platform where they could receive more web support. They also had no stock control across both sites which made managing inventory more difficult; this meant they needed to integrate with a software that could solve this issue by syncing stock across the entire business.

Charlie Bears came to 5874 for three new BigCommerce sites: UK, Australia and USA. Our team custom built the new websites with integrations with Linnworks and ShipStation to help with fulfilment, while Vend was introduced to give them stock visibility across all three sites as well as the museum in Cornwall.
It was decided that a staged launch would be the best bet for three new sites, with USA store going live first prior to peak, with the UK and Australia sites launching in January.
A custom membership application was also introduced; this enrols purchasers into the Charlie Bears’ Best Friends Club, which enables them to purchase restricted products as well as information automatically being sent to Mailchimp to aid their email marketing. By the end of the year, automated journeys will chase the member to renew.
